PROF. DR. VELİ OZAN ÇAKIR ITTF YÖNETİM KURULUNDA!

Uluslararası Masa Tenisi Federasyonu (ITTF) Olağan Genel Kurulu kapsamında gerçekleştirilen Yönetim Kurulu seçimi, 15 Kasım 2025 tarihinde online olarak yapıldı. Ülkemizi temsilen aday olan Spor Hizmetleri Genel Müdürümüz Prof. Dr. Sayın Veli Ozan Çakır, yapılan seçim sonucunda ITTF Yönetim Kurulu üyeliğine seçildi. Toplam 15 adayın yarıştığı ve 188 ülkenin delegelerinin oy kullandığı seçimde, ilk 8 aday yönetim kuruluna girme hakkı elde etti.

Destek veren ülkelere çok teşekkür ediyoruz. Prof. Dr. Veli Ozan Çakır'ın dünya masa tenisine önemli katkılar sağlayacağına inanıyoruz.

A FIRST IN THE HISTORY OF TURKISH TABLE TENNIS!

PROF. DR. VELİ OZAN ÇAKIR ELECTED TO THE ITTF EXECUTIVE BOARD!

The Executive Board election of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), held as part of the ITTF Annual General Meeting, took place online on 15 November 2025. Prof. Dr. Veli Ozan Çakır, our Director General of Sports and the candidate representing our country, was elected as a member of the ITTF Executive Board as a result of the voting. In the election, where 15 candidates competed and delegates from 188 countries cast their votes, the top 8 candidates earned the right to join the Executive Board.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the countries that supported us. We believe that Prof. Dr. Veli Ozan Çakır will make significant contributions to world table tennis.

As the Türkiye Table Tennis Federation, we take great pride in this historic outcome, which will strengthen our voice and representation on the international stage. We congratulate our Director General and wish him every success in his new role.
